Personalized Nutrition and Exercise Plan
Overview:
Our personalized nutrition and exercise plan platform encourages individuals to participate in an “8-Week Food Experience.” Each week, we add and/or remove specific nutrients from the individual’s daily intake. Participants are provided with journals to note the benefits and detriments to their mind and body as a result of the changes. This process helps employees to understand the impact that different foods have on their bodies and overall well being. The outcome is the individual’s Metabolic Signature – a unique genetic makeup and response to nutrients.
Objective:
Identify the specific foods that cause individuals to feel good or badly, so they can begin to make better and safer food choices.
With that information, along with that individual’s personal weight goals, we work toward an personalized nutrition and exercise plan that will cause him/her to feel better physically, achieve personal goals and have an increased understanding about his/her body and the foods they put in it.
Ways this differs from what exists today . . .
Instead of creating a one-size-fit-all diet plan and having individuals struggle to stick with it, our method allows each person to gain an immediate and experiential understanding of how food affects them - positively and negatively. And, instead of counting calories, we count level of activity.
